Brei Instructies: Voor beginners How to knit a baby hat different sizes

scissor something to keep track of your rows adric row counter or a paper and a pen or a pencil to keep track and a measuring tape to measure the size that you want your hat now to cast on you need to leave a tail long enough to do
that so before I start I’m gonna mention the different sizes that you can make your hat I just put some star form and here at the end away I don’t make a lot of noise when I’m recording so if you
want to make this hat for a newborn i recommend 54 stitches 52 for the stitch and 2 for the birthday this teaches multiple 4 plus 2 so if you want these for 3 to 6 months I’d recommend 58 stitches and from 6 to 12 months that’s
the one I’m gonna make sixty two stitches 60 for the stitch into for the border the newborn had the circumference is fourteen inch or 36 centimeters need to take around there from three to six months 17 inches or 43 centimeters for 6
to 12 months that is the one that I gotta make is 18 inches or 46 centimeters from 12 months to 3 years 19 inches or 48 centimeters and from 3 years to 10 years at 20 inch or 15 one centimeter for the circumference
so that’s why I for each hat you add for morris dish so if you want to make this one for it one years old to three your add to the sixty-two you add four more so you do 66 and that’s all working with
the same size needle as this one 55 each you change your size needle you have to change the amount of stitches if you use some a smaller needle you have to add more stitches to your hat and if you use a bigger needle you had to
remove some stitches okay but the only sub-forum for so I got a cast on for mine 62 so I’m gonna wrap my yarn thirty one time in here once I have my thirty one time I will remove from the needle fold around in half like this and then
grab at the end and I’ll have them on a yarn that I need for my sixty two stitches so I’ll do that off camera and i’ll show you how we gonna cut once you have your stern of yarn that you need
for casting on you’re gonna do a slip knot and that loop cast as the first stitch of yours numbers tissue cast it on for minor 62 so that will be number one so this is the tail and this side here and then I’m gonna place my finger
here to hold a stitch and I’m gonna start casting on my 62s tissues so after I finish this hard I will do another size one for next Wednesday so yes by changing the size needle and a few stitches you’ll see how you can do
an adult size one so I will meet you here when I have my 62 and you finish casting on you’re gonna do and not here to secure the first stitch so usually the first modernist is you pass it with that work
and this time we’re gonna do and then and this repetition and here you’ll do throughout your hat and then we’re gonna start with one purl and then we’re gonna do to knit two purl two knit now to name
two Pro two knit two purl like that you want to continue until the end where are you gonna do when you have to you’re gonna do one purl and the border stitch so me get when I have the those two left to
show you how we’re gonna finish so remember here is to net two purl two knit two purl two knit one purl and the ballistics you have my two left so this one it’s a pearl and the border states
you’re gonna pass it with our work you’re gonna turn your work around and you’re gonna net that borders dish and i’ve all the stitches loose there you see this is one before the the second
one is where you have the strength so you’re going to knit that first stitch always you got to net the first border stitch and then this one here now is a net because it was a pearl on the other side so you’re gonna net this one and
then you wanna do two pearls to knit two purl two knit you’re gonna work the stitches as to see them to knit two purl two knit and you want to continue at the end you’re gonna end up with a net and a bore through stitches
you gonna pass to the needle without working only the last one you’re gonna pass it without working but at the end I will show you how to live the the yarn before you pass the last dish here I have one left and the border so you’re
gonna net this one the last one it’s a net and then when you do your knit stitch you’re gonna pass you turn to the front and you’re gonna pass that one with a work and by doing these whether
you’re in the front when you turn your work around and you want to net the first stitch you sternal yarn is on the back if you don’t do that I will show you by leaving the stone of yarn in the
back when you finish the net and pass in this one when you’re gonna work the first stitch that is a net you join will be in the front okay so it’s easier that way that’s a little bit a trick to work
the last stitch line so now we’re going to start the third row and it’s a repetition order number one you’re gonna net the first borderless dish and then you wanna prove in the next one and then you’re gonna
work the stitches as you see them to knit two purl two knit two purl two knit and then one purl at the end and the border this dish that you’re gonna pass without working and then you’re going to
do then repetition or row number two you do one net the border stitch and net that will be the Pearl the widget end here and then you will continue with two purl two knit two purl two knit and at the end you will finish with a net and
then remember pass the yarn to the front and pass the last stitch with a word I know you’re gonna say it’s a little bit of work doing this way with the board rest each and that but let me tell you
at the end other hat once you start sewing your hat you’re gonna have a seamless hat because usually when you work with stray needle when you saw your hats you will have a seam so these stitch you will see will be a seamless
hat so you know it’s a little bit of work doing doing it this way but it works the world so I will meet you here when I die my border and for the border at these hat I gonna do ten row you’re
gonna do less you can do more I just want to be able to a folder fold this up and the brim of the Hat get to a little bit of a fall so that’s why I’m gonna give it ten row so something that I
wanted to mention is if you’re making these for a newborn to three months I recommend six row for this if you’re doing for a three months to six do a rose and like mine that is from say month to a year will be ten row so you
went from 12 months to three years you stay with the ten rows but if you are doing thrown three years to ten I recommend to do 12 rows okay and here and then six row so far I have to do four more here I have my ten rows and
then measure six and a half centimeters so if you lost count out your stitches here I’m going to show you a way to calm them that way they are nice and easy so the first one here the first net you
don’t want to count because those were the cast on so you’re gonna start with

the next one one two three four five six seven eight nine and then the one on your needle is row number ten that’s an
easy way to keep count of your row for this now we’re going to start with the stitch that we’re gonna do for the hat and the stitch is change every four room is a repetition of for Row one two three
four and then you come back again one two three four and so on so you have to start in the right side of your piece in here and the right side is when your tail is in the front of the tip of your needle so now we’re gonna start with our
stitch we’re going to start with the porter stitch you’re gonna let that stitch and always the Pearl will stay purl and the right side and they will be net in the wrong side okay so they stay
the same the only change is in these two neck okay so you wanna pearl your first pearl you’re gonna need one now you have to do a yarn over so to do a yarn over in the next stitch you have to bring the turn to the front
and knit the next stitch and that’s what we’re gonna do in this room so the next tool is to purl so you wanna do two pearls one and two go to the back you have your two Nets so you’re gonna need the first one you’re
gonna do a yarn over so you bring it out to the front and that create a channel in here when you work the next net so in this row we have two in one increase in between the nets so in row number three we’re gonna
decrease – dish then I create or motif or or the side so now to pros so you’re going to keep the pearl as a pearls turn to the back you gonna do the first net yarn to the front to create a yarn over and you’re
gonna do another next two pearls turn to the back oneness get to the front and you’re gonna do another knit and a create then yarn over in between so turn to the front – pearl no to the back one net down to the front
and another net now that you’re going to continue until the end where you going to finish with a purl and your border stage you’re gonna pass with our work now we’re going to work for number two
we’re gonna net the border stitch so we’re gonna work the stitches as we see them so the first one here is an N now we have this three here the two net that we did with a yarn over in the middle so those three will be
pearls that’s a yarn over do a little curl and then the other one pepper now you see just stitch here you have two Nets use those to knit the next three that was the to knit with the yarn over in the center will be three pearl
now you wanna do it two Nets can then you had your three pearls in here because this dish is very easy and then so you wanna continue continue to knit 3 purl 2 knit 3 purl 2 knit 3 purl and then at the end in here you’ll have one
net and the last border stitch that you will pass the yarn after the net to the front pass the porter stitch without working and then we’ll meet you here to the row number three now we’re going to
start row number three and now we’re gonna cast off those stitches that we increase so the first one you’re gonna need about this dish you see these ones always stay the same and you’re gonna do
your first pearl now here we have or three net and what we’re gonna do is turn to the back you’re gonna pass the first net to your needle without working and then you’re gonna do to knits one
and and you’re gonna pass that stitch that you pass to the needle without working over those order to that you net and you’re gonna cast it off like this now these two are to purl so you’re gonna do those two purl
near to the back again you’re gonna pass – dish then net to the other side needle and then you’re gonna net the next two and you’re gonna pass that third one here did you cut one to the third one and top
of those two and ask why create like a number eight for the design yard to the front to prose yarn to the back pass that one with a working and then you have to net and then you wanna pass the third one on top of these would these
two and then you want to purl and you wanna continue doing this all the way to the end are you gonna finish with your purl and your board rest dish and then I will meet you here to do draw number four there as the last one at the
sequence of four there before row do change to row number one so remember to purl you pass the first net without working the to net and cast off the net that you have in here and top of those two okay now for row number four and you’re gonna
knit the border stitch and the next stitch is a knit now here you have two pearls into knit and that is this room to pros to knit 2 purl 2 knit all the way to the end because now we don’t have that extra stitch caster off so we have
or I’m on a stitch that we start with you’re going to continue with these two pearls to knit 2 purl 2 knit and you wanna finish with the net and you border stitch at the ending you wanna pass
without working you see the two pearls they look like this and here okay those are the two pearls one and after that we’re gonna start again with row number one once you finish that row they will look like this that seem like much right
now but wait until you do a few repetition and you’ll love this stitch I love this stitch for hats so now we’re gonna start row number 5 that is repetition or number one you’re gonna
need the first one because that’s the ball loose stitch and then you have the first pearl and then you have you two next there is well to change yes you’re gonna need the first one you’ll bring
you turn to the front to create a yarn over and then you’re gonna do another man and that’s what you’re gonna do in this room it is to purl those two pearls always stay as a purl back and forth
they never change you see they stay straight up now you had the two Nets in here and that’s where you’re gonna do the down over in between so you do and net and to do the down over to create them extra
stitch you bring the journal to the front and when you do the net you see when you pass your needle to the back to do the net you clear in that stitch and between two purl one knit and to the front another knit purl the back one let go to
the front another net so that you’re gonna continue all the way to the end and remember you wanna finish with a pearl and the brother stitch that you’re gonna pass without work throw number six
as a repetition or row number two so you’re gonna let the water stitch and then the first one here is a net and then you have your three stitches that will be three pearls one and that was then yarn over you see two and three I’m
gonna do the back and then you had to knit yarn to the front three pearls er to the back to knit and you see as a very easy stitch so you always keeping those the same in the wrong side they are two net and whatever you have in
between those two days or three spaces you had to do pearl so you’re going to continue with your 3 purl 2 knit 3 purl 2 knit 3 purl and then you want to end up with one net and the water stitches you’re going to pass with our work and
then in the next row we’re going to be crossing the stitch again thrown number 7 is the repetition of Row 3 so you’re gonna need the border stitch you’re gonna do your pearl in here
and then you had you three nets and we have to cast off the first one so we’re gonna pass that first one without working yarn to the back and then you’re gonna knit the next two and then you
wanna pass the first one on top of those

two now you’re going to do two rows and then to the back pass the first one knit two and pass that one without working on top of those two and just have to look
like this so again you’re going to pro two yell to the back pass that one without working net to and pass that third one from the tip of the needle and top of those to go to the front to pro to the
back pass that one to next and pass the third one and top of those two like that you wanna continue all the way to the end and you wanna finish with one purl and you wanna pass the walls are working and then row number eight is the
repetition of row number four that will be two you pass the first stitch and there will be one net and then two purl two knit two purl two net and then you wanna finish with the net and the wardress dish and then you go start row
number nine is the repetition of row number one and that’s what I’ve done in here in the piece of paper to keep track my rose let’s pieces this way done with a row counter I start learning from one to
twenty four and then each time I do a row I marked a row done and then I know after row for row number five starting with row number one until we do from number eight row number nine a star rule number one so row number 13 will be
like row number one seventeen and twenty one will be like rule number one I guess mark 24 could be more can be less so now for the lathe other hat I had this one here that I made for adil this is the stitch look
amazing so you don’t see the seam yes by doing the border let me see if I can find it i was here in here but you see you don’t see it so this one is an adult size but I don’t did the lanes long enough to do this if
i do these to the hard it will be for probably 11 years old maybe for the length but the width is a little bit big for you see because it’s another science but this one will be on ladies with not folding at this part in here so for this
one if you are gonna level is trailerthis without folding the brim what you do as you measure from the border and I’m gonna give you the measurements for different sizes so from here to the length before you start the
decrease you’re gonna do 6 inches or 15 centimeter for a newborn to 3 month from three months to six months a 7 inch or 18 centimeters for 6 months to 1 year that is this one I go to the 75 then you can do 75 or 19 centimeters for 1
year 2 3 8 inches or 20 and a half centimeters and from 3 years to 10 85 inches or 22 centimeters that is if you don’t wanna fall these if you’re gonna fold this let’s say in here and then you
start measuring with the centimeters from here not from the tip they have to be a little bit longer that way from here to the top of the hat it will be those centimeters that you need so for mine I’ll start measuring after I fall
the ladies and I will let you know how many row I will do of the design for mine okay and the measurements after it will be more than 90 centimeter because I gotta fold this okay so I’m gonna continue working with my design so
it’s a really beautiful design I will show you how to do another size one and i did this one and working another one this will be present for Christmas they’re gorgeous so I will work on mine and I will show
you the progress and I will let you know how many roll I will do for my neck here i did a mistake in purpose the way I showed you how you can correct them if you forget to pass the one that you left without working and top of it what you
do you see I left this one in here and what I gonna do is I gonna pass these two pearls in to the other needle and then I come here and then pass this one and then put those back and that’s what i did when I had a mistake around here I
think I was around here and I already work quite a few stitches so I passed them to this needle I did they stitch over those two and then I place them back again in here okay and you know if you have made a mistake by looking and
if you don’t see these long stitches missing one and then you know another mistake on purpose to show you another way that you can fix if you forgot to do the yarn over in between these two Nets so in this part you have to remove the
stitches so the easiest way is you see I had to purl here so the yarns to the front you come here and remove that first Pro by going under the one on the end in the needle you pass it through and you remove again you
go into the stitch under here and do the same and I had to remove that net you bring yarn to the back and grab this loop under the one on your needle you can remove it and there you are what you’re supposed to be to create Julian
over that’s another trick that I wanted to show you just in case that you made a mistake that he had done the length that i want for mine and look how beautiful that stitch look means so I did 20 a
rows of the design plus the tenth row of the border here okay so now I’m gonna start with the decrease or the decrease you’re going to work on your borders dish and now you’re going to do two together
– together in two together and a nut stitch by this all the way to dear once you finish you want to have the border stitch you want to pass with yarn to the front and you’re going to pass the stitch you’re going to turn your
work around and then you’re going to knit the first one and then you know to the front and you’re going to go – together – together – together and a purl stitch so at the end you will have your board
this dish just one we’re going to do the porter stitch now we’re gonna do two together two together and knit stitch until the end and then you will come back again with two together two together and a purl stitch at the end
you’re gonna end up with six stitches so now you have to cut the yarn for sewing and cut extra because it’s better to have extra and know enough now I’m ready to close the Hat in the top and I gonna
pass those six let’s teach it through the needle now I’ll remove the needle and I will pass again one more time my turn through those stitches I like to do it twice always that way is nice and
secure the top of my hat now I’m going to start sewing in the side and I’m sewing in the side of the border station between the border station and the pearls is where I’m suing my hat
in between those two stages so make sure that you are sewing even and here smashing the stitches that way you have an even work at the end you see in between the Pro and the border stitch is where I’m sewing
once you finish sewing pull it a little bit like this that way and loosen up a little bit the stitch before you lose details so lose the tails and you see it looks seamless by doing the work like that so once you lose the tail if you
want you can put a pump on here or you can leave it like this my daughter won a white pom-pom and this one for William well here is the hat with a pom pom now i’m gonna put it on under William and I
will show you the end result well this is the end result and I love love these a lot of summarizes that I’m gonna be making for you feel these for Christmas presents this year so any beginner can make this heart
yes by following those four rows yes continue repeating those four rows and you’ll have this beautiful hat so I hope you guys liked it and give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel if you are not already a subscriber and if you
